Dreamscape’s Toyah news for January – March 2015 has now been “archived” – Not sure how I’ve found the time over the years, but there’s now over 15 years of press, interviews, releases, photos, TV, radio and much more in the News Archive. 1000′s of news posts to browse.
To mark the forthcoming Telling Strange Tales UK Tour by The Humans I’m currently transferring all of Dreamscape’s archive news on the band over to this format from its current html. This will mean the complete history of The Humans, from the very first news post back in June 2007, right through to the present will be available and searchable as a whole or as individual posts. More details soon…
A new page Toyah Live 2015 has just been added to Dreamscape’s Gallery. Following on from a busy live 12 months for Toyah last year – see Toyah Live 2014 – it looks like this will be another. Hopefully the new page will be added to over the coming months. There are already photos from the first two Acoustic, Up Close & Personal gigs (thanks Angus & Paul), including this great shot from Bilston on Thursday. (Thanks to Paul | Photo © P A C Photography)
• View more of Dreamscape’s Gallery pages – Almost 40 years of Toyah’s career in photos – Browse the full Acoustic… UK Tour schedule. The next dates are at Sub 89, Reading on Thursday, Cheese & Grain, Somerset on Friday and Cardiff Globe on Saturday.
Welcome to December! It’s the first of our build-up/countdown to Christmas posts. There’s no particular theme this year, other than each entry will be Christmas/Toyah related. Beginning with a look back at some of Dreamscape’s previous Christmas “cards” posted on the site on various Christmas Eve’s over the years. Ah the memories. I particularly enjoyed updating Dreamscape at Christmas… December was always a ridiculously busy month and updating each day seemed to add to the excitement of the countdown to the 25th!
Our Toyah news for October has now been added to the News Archive. Click below to browse.
I must confess, I haven’t looked at Dreamscape’s stats for a good while. Just been too busy with other things.
I was pleasantly surprised when I checked the stats at Stat Counter tonight (just 20 minutes ago to be precise) – In these times of Facebook, social media and everything else but the kitchen sink, this site is still very busy and continues to receive 100’s of unique visitors each and every day. Even on the quietest day of the last couple of months, which was Sunday 14th September, there was still 190 unique visitors.
In the last day alone there have been visits to Dreamscape from: UK, USA, Australia, France, Ireland, Germany, Turkey, Netherlands, Spain, Kenya, Sweden, Italy, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Finland. Russian Federation, Singapore, Poland and Latvia.
Interest in Toyah is truly global – View a larger version of the stats graphic here.

Now that Dreamscape has nestled into its 15th year online I thought it was time to give the site a bit of a makeover.
Over the last couple of months, inbetween work, life, sleep, fanzines and other websites, I’ve been revamping each section and I finally managed to finish and uploaded the changes this weekend – I’m pleased with the finished result and think the alterations give Dreamscape a bright, fresher (and fun) look.
I’ve also added content and brought up to date a few of the sections that had been slightly neglected over the last couple of years. I sometimes forget how vast the archives of this site are…
Take a look at Downloads, Press Archive, Features, News Archive and Gallery…
A new page at Dreamscape Gallery for photos from Toyah’s 2014 tours, PAs and festival appearances. This year I’m planning on sporadically looking back at a few of Dreamscape’s past Toyah features – What better way to kick off than with In The Court Of The Crimson Queen, especially as Toyah begins her year-long Crimson Queen/Greatest Hits… Live! Tour later this month. Click below to view our feature all about Toyah’s brilliant 2008 studio album.
• Dreamscape also had a dedicated News & Press page for all things In The Court Of The Crimson Queen – this was updated between September 2007 and May 2010 – View that here.

It’s Love Is The Law Month at Dreamscape. and we are now two-thirds of the way through it! The Love Is The Law & More page at Dreamscape’s Gallery has been updated with some of the latest fan creations…
We’re now halfway, and a smidge, through Love Is The Law Month and there’s a plethora of law-related bits and pieces to browse through, with more to come… Look back on the month so far by clicking below.
Back in 2003 the marking of the 20th anniversary of Toyah’s Love Is The Law album was a far more subdued affair than what’s currently happening for the 30th. Maybe it was considered too soon to go down Nostalgia Avenue (!). One of the very few things that did happen was Dreamscape’s 20th Anniversary feature. I think this was my first attempt at something like this and compared to later features it is very amateurish but I knew I wanted to do something to remember one of my favourite albums. This was definitely before I had learned to use Photoshop properly :) One of the best things about it, though, was In The Fairground‘s Andrew York reminiscing about 1983.
