Speaking of which, the fantastic Toyah Willcox Interview Archive is celebrating seven years online today – The site launched on 7th September 2006 and has brought us lots of great Toyah content over the last seven years. Happy Birthday to the Archive and Lärwi.

Welcome to September!! More Toyah shots from a 1978 photo session have surfaced very recently. Until a year or so ago there were only two photos available from this collection, best known for an image used on the cover of ‘Record Mirror’ in January 1979, and now there are many more. I’ve updated Dreamscape’s Gallery with all now available from the session. Great shots of Toyah just after filming Quadrophenia and a very early band line-up. (Thanks to Andi)

Something we haven’t done for a while… a look at which other places in the world people are visiting Dreamscape from. Toyah fans are all over the globe.
As always the majority of visits are from the UK, but as you can see, over the last 24 hours there have been visitors from France, USA, Germany, Australia, Spain and numerous other countries. This is just a snapshot of the last day or so, no doubt the list of locations will be quite different tomorrow or the next day!

Toyah tweeted the other day that the Autumn dates (marking the 30th anniversary of the Love Is The Law album and tour) will be announced soon. Last month the complete Safari Records/Intergalactic Ranchhouse/Toyah Fan Club photo collection was added to Dreamscape’s Gallery. I’ve now finally also added a thumbnail link to the page on the Gallery menu.
The full collection of “Intergalactic Ranchhouse” and “Toyah Fan Club” photos, which originally accompanied the regular newsletters, were mailed out to fan club subscribers between 1980 and ’86.

Over the last few days we’ve been posting lots of Toyah bits & pieces, as well as various “collections”, including The Blue Meaning, Thunder In The Mountains, Brave New World, The Ieya Tour 1980, Rock & Pop Awards 1982 and Melissa Caplan.
The positive feedback for Imaginary Toyah Singles has been something of a surprise. I thought about doing it a while ago and then, like so many other things, promptly forgot about it again. I’m glad some of you are enjoying it. I’ve added another three: Voodoo Doll (especially for Lärwi); Martian Cowboy and Kiss The Devil.
Check out the latest addition to Dreamscape: A page dedicated to Hormonal Housewives, the theatre show that Toyah will tour with through March, April and May.
Dreamscape’s page includes info, photos and the full tour dates. I’ve also added direct links to the Hormonal Housewives page at each theatre website (just click on the theatre’s name).
Hormonal Housewives 2013 opens at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley on Tuesday 5th March and goes country wide over the following three months. The complete dates are also available at The Official Toyah Gigs page.

2013 is shaping up to be yet another eventful and busy year for Toyah, with Hormonal Housewives, The Humans and the Love Is The Law Autumn tour being just some of Toyah’s plans.
Dreamscape is looking forward to another busy year too. As well as the usual news updates we have just launched the Imaginary Toyah Singles feature, there’s the ongoing Remember ’83 and there are a few other interesting projects to come – including a brand new WEBSITE dedicated to Toyah – AND a substantial feature focusing on a specific time in her career.
I can’t say much about these right now as it would just spoil the surprise. If you are a Toyah fan I can assure you they are not to be missed!
