HOMECOMING CELEBRATION KING’S HEATH WALK OF FAME UNVEILING & CONCERT
Toyah’s career and musical heritage is honoured in a celebratory accolade on Monday 16 July 2012. In a true homecoming fashion Toyah is unveiled as the first star on KING’S HEATH WALK OF FAME. Later that day 7.30pm the doors will open at Hare & Hounds, York Road, King’s Heath for a special Walk of Fame gig from Toyah with her full live band featuring classics, hits and rarities.

The winning songs in the ‘Walk Of Fame’ setlist vote, both of which will be played at next Monday’s Hare & Hounds gig, are Blue Meanings and Elusive Stranger.

The fifth monthly online live track has been added to Toyah’s official website. It’s ‘Demolition Men’, recorded live at Ropetackle Arts Centre in October 2011, on the ‘From Sheep Farming To Anthem’ tour.
Toyah’s official website will be offering visitors exclusive live tracks each month as Toyah’s summer festival/concert dates and The Changeling Resurrection II approach. At the beginning of each month an exclusive live track recorded from Toyah’s extensive 2011 tour dates will feature on the Gigs page.
The live tracks will be available to listen to for a limited time only with a new track replacing it each month. These live tracks are a taster for a special live album release planned for digital release in autumn/winter of 2012.

On Tuesday Toyah’s official website announced a new 12-date ‘Changeling Resurrection II’ UK tour for Autumn 2012, and also revealed a fantastic new tour poster.
The tour opens in Middlesbrough on 19th September and will also visit Sheffield, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Redhill, Telford, King’s Lynn, Bridport, St.Alban’s, London and Brighton. With brand new images created especially for the tour and material not performed in thirty years, this is a true celebration and re-interpretation of one of Toyah finest albums alongside hit singles.
The tour will wrap up on Saturday 3 November 2012 at Brighton Concorde 2 in a special show. The Changeling Resurrection II – Rewound & Extended will act as a finale to the tour at the same venue it began at in April.
Toyah said of the Spring tour: “I can’t believe how well received the Changeling Resurrection has been!”

Two film crews are at Bush Hall, London tonight. One is there there to capture some exclusive footage to be made available at a later date @ toyahwillcox.com.
A great news update by Toyah’s official website on Wednesday, covering Toyah’s new tour image, the fantastic reviews and that Brighton sold out and Bush Hall, London looks like doing so also.
After remarkable response and amazing reviews, including four-stars from thisisnotretro.com, Toyah continues to resurrect the The Changeling tonight at Bristol Tunnels.
With a brand new image created especially for the tour and material not performed in thirty years, this is a true celebration and re-interpretation of one of Toyah finest albums. The tour then continues to London’s Bush Hall on Sunday 22 April which is approximately 15 tickets away from a completely sold out show, so act quick if you wish to catch the show. Last night Toyah’s official website launched a dedicated ‘Changeling Resurrection’ page, with a fantastic Tour Gallery of photos, by Leigh Carter.
Toyah’s CHANGELING RESURRECTION TOUR kicked off to a resounding success last night with a sell-out show at Brighton’s Concorde 2 Club.
With material not performed in thirty years, including the hit single Brave New World, a new costume and head-dress, the blistering show was met with rapturous applause from buzzing fans who were keen to show their appreciation on Facebook and Twitter after the concert.
