• Great to hear that Toyah, and toyahwillcox.com’s, Christmas gift to fans was a roaring success. Toyah’s Official Facebook updated today: Glad to see so many people enjoyed Twenty Four From Toyah which received 4391 plays in the 43 days it was live at Soundcloud, 12 Dec-24 Jan. All tracks “sold out” digitally too. Who knows what 2013 will bring…… :-)
• As the above says, ‘Twenty Four From Toyah’ is no longer available, but the artwork and booklet is currently still online at toyahwillcox.com (though this may change soon). View all of Dreamscape’s TFFT news here.
• “Set myself task of learning 17 pages a day of Hormonal Housewives script. This is fun :-)” tweeted Toyah today. Hormonal Housewives 2013 opens at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley on Tuesday 5th March and goes all over the country through March, April and May. Twenty Four From Toyah was Toyah’s Christmas gift to fans. Featuring a selection of unreleased live songs from various gigs and tours spanning 1993 to 2012. Not only celebrating Toyah’s live history over the past 20 years but marking the end of three recent highly successful UK tours commemorating Toyah’s amazing Safari albums from ‘Sheep Farming In Barnet’ to ‘The Changeling’.

Toyah’s Christmas Countdown is well and truly under way at toyahwillcox.com, with the third reveal today. There’s a new box to open every day at around 1pm right through until Christmas Eve… Not only that but to celebrate its 30th anniversary ‘I Believe In Father Christmas’ is to be released as a digital single very soon.
Toyah’s festive December/Christmas blog is now online at toyahwillcox.com. There will also be a 12 Days of Toyah Christmas Advent Calendar at the official website beginning on 13th December.

Exciting news from The Official Toyah Willcox Website: Exclusive multimedia material is coming soon to toyahwillcox.com to celebrate the end of two year’s worth of successful live concerts including brand new previously unseen images and live tracks.
The Resurrection Live Sessions: An occasional series of videos, filmed at Brighton Concorde 2, the final date of The Changeling Resurrection II UK Tour. First up is Danced. I think this was filmed and, brilliantly, edited by Ali Carron who is also making a Toyah related documentary that will air next year. NB: The gig footage won’t be released on DVD but more will feature exclusively at Toyah’s new Official Vimeo Channel. (Thanks to Michael)

• Toyah returned to the UK yesterday, from The Humans’ recording sessions in Seattle: “Just landed in UK. Raring to get going! Changeling Resurrection here I come :-)”
• Robert & Toyah will appear in the third episode of BBC4’s Love and Marriage series. This will air on Tuesday 2nd October (two weeks today) at 9pm. Toyah said: “It should be lovely“. The first episode premieres tonight.

The sixth monthly online live track has been added to Toyah’s official website. It’s ‘Masai Boy’, recorded live at The Regal, Oxford in July 2011, on the ‘From Sheep Farming To Anthem’ tour.
Toyah’s official website will be offering visitors exclusive live tracks each month as Toyah’s summer festival/concert dates and The Changeling Resurrection II approach. At the beginning of each month an exclusive live track recorded from Toyah’s extensive 2011 tour dates will feature on the Gigs page.
The live tracks will be available to listen to for a limited time only with a new track replacing it each month. These live tracks are a taster for a special live album release planned for digital release in autumn/winter of 2012.
