THANKS!!! to everyone for the great response to the first two A4 issues of Toyah Fanzine. And for those still waiting, I hope they are with you soon!
So many ideas for future A4s, but not for a while. Stay tuned for The Changeling (A5) issues, happening in the not too distant future (around when Cherry Red reissue the album).

Happy to report that Toyah Fanzine’s first two A4 issues – “Posh Pop” and “The Road To Sheep Farming In Barnet” – have been created, designed, printed, received, packaged, posted and most readers should be receiving them today! Happy reading!! I documented some of the process this time …

Dreamscape goes into its 24th year online in March and I’m currently working on revamping the website. Right now the idea is to completely change the look/format, which I find slightly scary/daunting, but I think it really is time for a radical change as I’ve been using this layout since 2012. During the 12 years before that I altered the format every couple of years.
This is, obviously, going to take a while as we have a huge archive that needs to be reformatted, or at least included in the new website in some form, as I’ve always considered the archives to be a really important aspect of any website. I’m also thinking of a way to incorporate the fanzine in some way.
So, the changes aren’t going to happen immediately but just a heads up that the changes will be happening…

New print issues of Dreamscape’s Toyah Fanzine are coming… In the meantime, our free digital lockdown issue – celebrating Toyah Solo – is still available online to read or download.

A huge Thank You to one of my music heroes from my teenage years – and the man responsible for the awesome drumming on Anthem and co-writer of one of the best songs of the 80s, Thunder In The Mountains – Nigel Glockler for posting this great photo on Facebook.
Nigel posted: “As I’ve said before and will say again: writing and playing with Toyah, Joel, Adrian & Phil was such an amazing time in my life and I am so very proud of the music we made.”
Fantastic to know Nigel is so fond of his Toyah days. All of the music from that era still sounds as amazing now as then! Thanks also to Gina Giambalvo-Glockler. Those little A5 booklets are not worthy!! (Photo © Nigel Glockler)

Next week marks the 38th Anniversary of the release of the Four More From Toyah EP. Four great songs (as well as a bonus fifth song on the flexi!!) and utterly incredible imagery. Here is a mini preview of the FMFT page from the forthcoming Issue 38 of our fanzine, along with the original EP front sleeve in the UK. The fanzines will be posted out at the beginning of December!

Toyah’s November blog is now available to read at The Official Toyah Willcox Website. Click below for Toyah’s thoughts on the recent tour, and much more. I must say a huge thank you to Toyah for mentioning Dreamscape’s Fanzine in her blog, as well as Craig Astley for posting about it in the latest ‘Breaking Through’ Official Newsletter. I am extremely grateful for the support.
