Six years ago tonight Toyah launched The Changeling Resurrection UK Tour at The Concorde 2 in Brighton. The six-date tour took in Brighton, Bristol, Glasgow, London, Wolverhampton and Manchester. Toyah is getting set to run wild, run free again over the next seven weeks as ‘The Changeling Resurrection II’ begins tonight. The first gig of the 11-date UK Tour is at The Middlesbrough Theatre. It looks like the forthcoming ‘Changeling Resurrection II’ tour dates could be your last opportunity to see a “Toyah” gig for the next year: Toyah says in her latest blog: “If you missed the spring dates, be sure to catch the autumn because live TOYAH dates possibly won’t be happening again for about 12 months!” The tour begins very soon – a week tomorrow in Middlesbrough – Check out the full itinerary and ticket links by clicking below.
• Song voting for The Changeling Resurrection II begins tomorrow (1st September) at Toyah’s Official Facebook: Fans will be able to vote for their favourite song to help select a couple of choices on set list.
• Look out for a brand new ‘Changeling Resurrection II’ commemorative tour t-shirt on sale on the tour.
• Various venues the tour will play at have dedicated pages on Toyah. Check out the Bridport Electric Palace, King’s Lynn Corn Exchange, Redhill Harlequin Theatre, St Albans The Horn and Brighton Concorde2.

Toyah is the cover star of the Autumn 2012 edition of ‘MT’, the Middlesbrough Theatre brochure. The much-anticipated Changeling Resurrection II tour plays at the venue on Wednesday 19th September, the first gig of the 12-date UK tour. On Tuesday Toyah’s official website announced a new 12-date ‘Changeling Resurrection II’ UK tour for Autumn 2012, and also revealed a fantastic new tour poster.
The tour opens in Middlesbrough on 19th September and will also visit Sheffield, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Redhill, Telford, King’s Lynn, Bridport, St.Alban’s, London and Brighton. With brand new images created especially for the tour and material not performed in thirty years, this is a true celebration and re-interpretation of one of Toyah finest albums alongside hit singles.
The tour will wrap up on Saturday 3 November 2012 at Brighton Concorde 2 in a special show. The Changeling Resurrection II – Rewound & Extended will act as a finale to the tour at the same venue it began at in April.
Toyah said of the Spring tour: “I can’t believe how well received the Changeling Resurrection has been!”
