Headliners announced for world’s biggest lesbian festival
L Fest takes place in Llandudno next month and two stars form the 80s are topping the bill
The headline acts for “L Fest” the world’s largest lesbian festival have been confirmed. Toyah Willcox and Katrina from Katrina and the Waves will top the bill at the concert which is being held at Bodafon Farm Park, Llandudno between Friday July 13 and Monday July 16.
With a month until the festival gets underway, the organisers have announced the two “global 80’s icons” who will take centre stage. Katrina will headline on the Saturday and Toyah Willcox will top the bill on Sunday.

Toyah, Paul Young and China Crisis hit Rhyl for 80s nostalgia meltdown
Big names coming to Pavilion after “overwhelming public demand” for 80s revival night, which will also see Martika – of Martika’s Kitchen fame – perform in UK for first time in 25 years
Pop icons Toyah, Paul Young and China Crisis are riding back to North Wales on a wave of Eighties nostalgia. The evergreen stars will bring their ‘Invasion’ show to Rhyl next year and it’s sure to revive memories of punk haircuts, suave suits and timeless tunes.
They’ll be joined by US-based singer Martika – perhaps best known for her No 5 hit ‘Toy Soldiers’ released in 1989 – who will be performing in the UK for the first time in 25 years. Organisers say the show follows this year’s successful concerts and is being staged due to “overwhelming public demand”.

Toyah Willcox stars in show at Rhyl Pavilion
It’s naughty fun and guaranteed to make you “howl with laughter” according to Toyah Willcox one of the stars of a show called Hormonal Housewives on tour right now.
Former punk icon Toyah joins writer Julie Coombe, and former Hollyoaks actress Sarah Jane Buckley, in a follow-up to a much-enjoyed 2012 production which starred Margi Clark and Carol Smillie.
