80’s star Toyah Willcox issues special message to Blackpool music fans ahead of Blackpool’s 80s Weekender

Taking place on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September, the event will celebrate one of music’s most influential decades with performances from some of the biggest names of the era. Toyah will appear alongside ABC, Kim Wilde, Go West, The Christians, Katrina, Johnny Hates Jazz and Hue & Cry.

80’s superstar Toyah Willcox has issued a special message to music fans in Blackpool.

The singer songwriter is heading to the resort in September as headliner of the Blackpool 80s Weekender in September.

She joins a star-studded line-up of iconic artists who will take to the stage at Blackpool Winter Gardens for two days of live music, entertainment and nostalgia.

New Toyah 2026 live dates for Toyah have been announced, including Penkridge Open Air Festival on Saturday 29th August and Blackpool 80s Weekender on Saturday 26th September. The latter also includes a “Toyah in Conversation” session.
