Another review of Adam Ant’s Antmusic 2025 UK Tour, this one by Rockfiend, focusing on the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall date(s).
Joining Adam on some of the tour is Toyah, whose connection with Adam dates way back to their involvement in the film ‘Jubilee’. Toyah’s shows in recent years have often been padded out unnecessarily with covers, but I’m pleased to report that tonight’s set was all her own material – and all the better for it.
Toyah is a real pocket rocket and connected really well with the Glasgow audience throughout, which made for an entertaining watch, but her vocals were equally impressive. Of course, we got the big hits – ‘Thunder In The Mountains’, ‘It’s A Mystery’ and ‘I Want To Be Free’ – but most enjoyable for me were the lesser known tracks ‘Neon Womb’ and ‘Ieya’, with the latter dedicated to a delighted member of the crowd who had been eagerly shouting for it. All in, it was a really enjoyable and fun set. My only gripe was that the cymbals and toms on the drummers electronic kit were largely inaudible at times.

A great review, by Bournemouth Echo, for Toyah on Adam Ant’s Ant Music 2025 Tour, from the opening date at Bournemouth BIC.
Review: Adam Ant at the BIC in Bournemouth
It was two legends for the price of one at the Bournemouth International Centre.
First up we had the pleasure of the full on Toyah experience.
Looking sharp and sounding sharper still, this is a performer who has lost none of the enthusiasm and brilliant stage craft that saw her storm the charts in the eighties.
The thing about having a performer as good as Toyah as your support is that there is a good chance they might steal the show.
Tonight that may just have been the case.

Toyah is very busy gigging over the next few months, with concerts of her own (Celebrating The Very Best Of Toyah in October, and An Evening With Toyah in November), as well as supporting Adam Ant on 10 dates of his UK tour (October/November) and supporting Big Country on five dates of their UK tour.
