Toyah Willcox has chosen Middlesbrough Theatre to launch the latest leg of her tour, celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of The Changeling. The Changeling Resurrection II sees Toyah and her full band perform a selection of songs from the album alongside classic material as heard on the Warrior Rock live album.
The performance takes place on Wednesday 19th September at 7.30pm. Tickets are £18, concessions £16.

Toyah Willcox has confirmed a special autumn 2012 tour, which will celebrate the 30th anniversary of “The Changeling”, & “Warrior Rock”, following a highly acclaimed run of spring dates which saw five-star reviews and sold out shows. She will be performing her classic second album The Challenging and a number of her top 40 hits.

Toyah has announced a second leg of her current ‘Changeling Resurrection’ tour which features a setlist revolving around her classic 1982 album ‘The Changeling’. The new shows will take place between September and November and will finish with a return to Brighton’s Concorde 2, where the tour began, which will feature a special extended set.
On Tuesday Toyah’s official website announced a new 12-date ‘Changeling Resurrection II’ UK tour for Autumn 2012, and also revealed a fantastic new tour poster.
The tour opens in Middlesbrough on 19th September and will also visit Sheffield, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Redhill, Telford, King’s Lynn, Bridport, St.Alban’s, London and Brighton. With brand new images created especially for the tour and material not performed in thirty years, this is a true celebration and re-interpretation of one of Toyah finest albums alongside hit singles.
The tour will wrap up on Saturday 3 November 2012 at Brighton Concorde 2 in a special show. The Changeling Resurrection II – Rewound & Extended will act as a finale to the tour at the same venue it began at in April.
Toyah said of the Spring tour: “I can’t believe how well received the Changeling Resurrection has been!”

Toyah announces The Changeling Resurrection II UK Tour for Autumn 2012
Following the success of a sold-out spring tour mark three decades since the release of Toyah’s fourth album, The Changeling, the former punk pixie is taking the show back out on the road; this time coupling it with the anniversary of her second album of 1982, the live record Warrior Rock.
The new dates will see the diminutive star perform a ‘true celebration and re-interpretation’ of what is undoubtedly one of her finest works, alongside a collection of hit singles including I Want To Be Free and Thunder In The Mountains. In more recent times, Toyah has continued her highly credible career as a TV and film actress and made a number of high profile guest appearances. Thankfully, in recent years she has returned to her first love as a highly decorated punk pop star with a distinctly theatrical accent.
