Blackpool Gazette: Toyah Show On Pier Cancelled

bpoolgazette15aA performance from the ‘high priestess of punk’ Toyah at Blackpool’s North Pier is off.

A spokesman for the venue said ticket holders for the Sunday, July 12 show could get a refund from their point of sale.

On Facebook, Toyah said this and another cancellation were ‘due to technical issues with the respective councils’ staging the events.

Live 2015: Concert Cancellations

live2015mUnfortunately a pair of concerts Toyah was scheduled to play are now not going ahead. Here’s an update from Toyah’s Official Facebook:

We wanted to let you know as soon as proper confirmation was received that two outdoor concert events which were scheduled to appear Toyah and her band live are no longer going ahead. This is due to technical issues with the respective councils involved in staging these events.
