Good news for those who missed out on tickets for Toyah’s ‘Mylor Sessions’ gig, taking place this Saturday.
A handful of last minute tickets for the gig in Mylor, Nr. Falmouth, Cornwall will go on sale at 8am tomorrow (Wednesday 20th June) from the ‘Mylor Sessions’ Website. (News Source: Official Toyah Facebook)
Toyah will be performing at the Tremayne Hall in Mylor later this month as part of the Mylor Sessions.
Toyah will be play a selection of songs from her Platinum-selling albums Anthem and The Changeling which celebrates its 13th anniversary this year, among many other tracks. This is a unique chance to hear Toyah’s well-known hits alongside cherry-picked songs and dark quirky anthems – many of which have not been heard live since her early tours from the late 1970s and early 1980s.
The Saturday, June 23 show starts at 8pm with doors from 7pm.

Toyah has been touring for the past year to rave reviews. This hotly-anticipated concert tour sees Toyah perform a selection of material from her first three albums and a concentration of songs from her Platinum-selling albums Anthem and The Changelling which celebrates its thirtieth anniversary this year. • Toyah mentioned a couple of weeks ago she had been asked to participate in a new Doctor Who documentary for ‘BBC America’. She tweeted today to say she was now filming this and her thoughts were full of plots, facts, Daleks and Cybermen!
• According to the Mylor Sessions website Toyah’s concert on Saturday 23rd June, at Tremayne Hall, is now sold out (75% of the tickets were bought in the first 24 hours of going on sale).
• What’s on TV include a clip from the 1990 BAFTA Awards in their latest “What’s on You Tube” feature, with someone you may just recognise presenting the award…
A new live date for 2012 has been added to Toyah’s official Gigs page at toyahwillcox.com.
Toyah will be playing a “Hits & Surprises”, full band, gig at Mylor Sessions, Mylor, Cornwall on Saturday 23rd June. Tickets go on sale on Monday 21st May.
