Mix 96: 80s Star To Headline Aylesbury Music Event
80’s pop star Toyah will be headlining Aylesbury Town Council’s ‘Live in the Park’ music festival in August in Vale Park.
The event on Saturday 29th is an entire day of music for free, Toyah Willcox will be on stage at 8:30pm and is very excited to be performing at this free outdoor event.
“I am thrilled to be playing ‘Live in the Park’ in Aylesbury! It will be a wonderful, fun day with great music. It’s only 34 years since I received the FA Cup (Friars Aylesbury Cup) for selling out Friars faster than any other artist in the history of Friars….. so it’s about time I came back”.
Toyah will be performing on stage following eight and a half hours of continuous live music, featuring many local bands and musicians, including Platform Soul, the ultimate soul, disco and dance band.
Rob Casey, Platform Soul lead guitarist says, “We are very excited that Toyah will be headlining ‘Live in the Park’. It’s an honour to share the large outdoor stage with such a popular national star as well as a wide range of talented local artists.
