There’s a busy weekend ahead – Tonight there is the Aaaaaaaah! screening + Cast Q&A at Picture House Central in Piccadilly, London. Tomorrow afternoon Toyah guests on Dermot O’Leary’s BBC Radio Two show, and on Sunday plays an Acoustic, Up Close & Personal gig at Cottingham Folk Festival (scheduled to be onstage at 3pm at The Civic Hall)

Cottingham Folk Festival is a brand new event for the region’s already blossoming music calendar, to be hosted in various venues in the picturesque East Yorkshire village of Cottingham across the first weekend of September.
An exciting addition to a vibrant summer of events, this three-day extravaganza will see an incredible line-up of artists descend on what is thought to be the largest village in the UK.

Toyah has played dozens (and dozens) of gigs in 2015, one of the most prolific live years of her career – Acoustic, Up Close & Personal; Proud, Loud & Electric; The Humans’ Telling Strange Tales; as well as numerous festivals (New Mills, Cottingham, Bewdley, Lowdham, Soundstock, Cropredy, Glastonbudget…). Toyah’s Gig Diary for the remainder of 2015 is packed full of concerts, including a variety of Summer festivals; Fairport’s Cropredy Convention (15th August), Flashback Festival (22nd August), Cottingham Folk Festival (6th September). There’s also the Acoustic, Up Close & Personal UK Tour, numerous Proud, Loud & Electric gigs and a number of one off appearances.
Toyah makes her debut at Eastbourne Bandstand next month (14th August), and plays the New Mills Festival, Derbyshire (12th September). There’s also a return to Bristol for a Proud, Loud & Electric gig at The Fleece (5th November).
