Walk Of Fame Gig with PAC Photography

To help celebrate Toyah’s unique one-off Walk Of Fame Show at The Hare and Hounds in Kings Heath, Birmingham on Monday 16 July, Paul at PAC Photography will be taking photos of everyone that attends.

These will be made into a very special mosaic which will be presented to Toyah. It will be a wonderful momento of what promises to be a very special night. Please try to arrive as close to door opening time as possible (19.30) and be a part of this wonderful evening.

It’s also going to be a special night for fans who can help choose selections for the set list. Pick your favourite song from the following choices and the most popular 2 will be performed. One song in each of the 2 sets on the evening

A full career-spanning retrospective with classic Toyah songs from the albums SHEEP FARMING, BLUE MEANING, ANTHEM, THE CHANGELING, LOVE IS THE LAW, VELVET LINED SHELL and CRIMSON QUEEN plus CLASSIC SINGLES & RARE B-SIDES……… plus the chance for fans to vote for 2 songs to be performed on the night!

Vote for either Elusive Stranger, Blue Meanings, Masai Boy, Pop Star, Waiting or Our Movie at Toyah’s Official Facebook.

• Toyah will be the first star on it in a fortnight’s time, and the inauguration of the King’s Heath ‘Walk of Fame’ Commemorative Music Plate took place last Wednesday in the town. The ‘Walk of Fame’ has been brought about by the collaboration of the Birmingham Civic Society and Birmingham Music Archive together with the City Council.

Toyah’s official website released a new promo image today for Toyah’s upcoming ‘Walk Of Fame’ gig at the Hare & Hounds, King’s Heath, Birmingham.

Tickets for the concert are also now available to buy.

The concert will include two sets spanning Toyah’s punk beginnings and cult classics from Sheep Farming In Barnet through to top ten hits and selections from the platinum selling albums Anthem and The Changeling.

A new gig has just been announced to mark Toyah’s inclusion in the King’s Heath ‘Walk Of Fame’.


Celebrating Toyah’s induction as the very first star on the King’s Heath Walk of Fame comes a very special homecoming gig in the Hare & Hounds.

Official Toyah: King’s Heath ‘Walk Of Fame’

Toyah’s official website reported during the week that Toyah is to be honoured by her hometown next month.


A new Walk of Fame will launch this summer celebrating King’s Heath’s amazing musical and comedy heritage. King’s Heath-born Toyah will be the first star to be inducted on the Birmingham Walk of Fame with the official unveiling taking place in early July. We will bring you further details on this exciting project in the coming weeks.
