21 December : Su's 2001 - A
Busy Year! |
Oh!
What a year 2001 has been for Su. There
was the Viva Le Diva show in
Wimbledon, lots of TV appearances dotted
through the year, including This Is
Your Life, Open House, I
Love 1980's, Up Late With Ralf
Little, Songs Of Praise &
more. The release of her CD 'The
Collection', the extensive Pirates Of
Penzance Tour, her fantastic
appearance as Heidi Honeycomb in Gimme
Gimme Gimme, and rounding off the
year in Wales starring in Dick
Whittington.
Not
forgetting that Su's Official website
moved to the domain supollard.org way
back in January and gets more popular by
the month - Thanks to everyone for
visiting, your support is very much
appreciated.

21 December : Su's Panto
History |
Su is one of the
top panto stars in the country, if you
haven't seen her give her principal boy
in this most British of theatrical
traditions you really are missing out. Pantomime has always been one of
Su's specialities over the years, and she
has been both principal boy and girl
across the UK in Goldilocks, Babes
In The Woods, Pinocchio, Jack
And The Beanstalk, Mother Goose,
Aladdin, and Dick
Whittington.
This year, of
course, Su is in Dick Whittington
at the North Wales Theatre in Llandudno,
Wales. She is starring in the lead role
and the show is now in full swing (oh yes
it is...).
Dick
Whittington is a huge panto
favourite in the UK with at least 20
productions (and that doesn't include
amateur companies) taking place in towns
and cities as far afield as Birmingham (with
Brian Conley), Stoke On Trent (with Russ
Abbot), Southend (with Hale & Pace),
Bornemouth (with Wayne Sleep), Stevenage
(with Peter Duncan), Cambridge (with
Christopher Biggins), Liverpool, Hayes,
Bridlington, Southampton, and many more
including Su's hometown of Nottingham.

21 December : Su's Message |
Hello!
I hope 2001 has been a good year for you
all and a big thanks for taking the time
to visit my website over the past 12
months, I really do appreciate it. At this very moment I'm in
Llandudno at the North Wales Theatre
having a whale of a time in Dick
Whittington. Come January I will
begin the second run of The Pirates Of
Penzance, which goes right through
until the end of April. I hope some of
you will be able to make it to the show
as the reviews have been great, and
everyone who has been has loved the
production.
While
travelling round the country with Pirates
I stopped off in Glasgow in late October
and I met up with Dave, my web designer (that's
me and him above, having a drink and a
laugh) and we had a chat about future
developments for this website. All I can
say for now is there is plenty to look
forward to in 2002, so stay tuned.
I wish
each and everyone of you a wonderful
festive season and may all your dreams
come true in 2002 - Love Su xx
