Hi-De-Hi Salad Put
some Hi-De-Hi fun into mealtimes with Su's saucy
salad.
Preparation:
20 minutes
Serves: Four
You Need: vegetable knife, large salad bowl,
tablespoon, fork
1
small lettuce,
(washed and shaken dry)
2 tomatoes,
(washed and quartered)
half a cucumber, (washed)
1 small onion,
(peeled and cut into rings)
6 black olives
4oz fetta cheese, (cut into 1in cubes)
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon white vinegar
Little salt & pepper
Tear
lettuce into small pieces, put into salad bowl
and add tomatoes.
Cut
the end off cucumber, cut in half lengthways,
then cut in half lengthways again. Cut lengths
into small cubes and add to salad bowl along with
the onion rings, olives and cheese. Add oil,
vinegar, and salt and pepper. Then, using a
tablespoon and a fork, gently toss the salad.
