Stourport Brass Band has a starring role in an episode of the BBC comedy series Oh, Dr Beeching!

Filming is currently taking place at Arley Station on the Severn Valley Railway.

The storyline features a village band booked to play at the station.

Actress Su Pollard turned out to be a brass band enthusiast and a talented singer, which has lead to talks about the band joining forces with her for a concert next year.
