This
year's takes place at Worcester

there as a successful local
businesswoman who is focussed on
green issues.
Margaret
Gray, principal economic
development officer, said:
"Local women are involved in
numerous successful enterprises
in the county. This conference is
the opportunity for them to meet
and share ideas.
"It
is also a forum to inform
decision-makers of the needs of
local businesses, so that as much
as possible can be done to aid
the economic development of
Worcestershire's companies.
"Toyah's
presence isn't a stunt. She's
continued to be a successful
Worcestershire businesswoman who
feels a responsibility to look
after the environment at the same
time, showing the two can be
compatible."

Latex
Messiah - Round Up |
Saturday 3rd
November, 2007.........................................................Music |
Time
for a bit of a 'Latex Messiah'
round-up: As mentioned in the
previous update, the song has
been showing up in various Top
Song charts at iTunes. There
are also numerous fan
reviews of the
single at iTunes too. And if you
have already downloaded the song
why not make someone else's
weekend by gifting it to
them as a download too. There's
been lots of activity at the Toyah
Forum over the
past week, and about a dozen new
members have joined in the last
few days too. A dedicated 'Latex
Messiah' MySpace has just
been launched and there's also a FaceBook Group
just opened too. Toyah's first
commercially available single for
over a decade has been receiving
namechecks in such places as 'Pop
Justice' and the 'Birmingham
Mercury'. Don't forget that any
official "Latex"
updates/info/content will be
available at the Official
Toyah MySpace and www.toyahwillcox.com, or at
the Official
Toyah YouTube channel.
Finally,
for now, www.brap.fm, Internet
Radio, have 'Latex Messiah (Viva
La Rebel In You)' included on
their playlist for tonight
between 6 and 8pm.

Yuletide countdown. And this
year the festivities begin with a
star-studded Christmas lights
switch on with a performance from
Toyah Willcox and a fireworks
display on Thursday, November 22.
Toyah
said: "I am delighted to be
turning on the lights in
Bracknell. The atmosphere is
always exciting in a town centre
in the lead up to Christmas.
"It's
going to be such a fun evening
and I can't wait to entertain the
crowds."
The

shop-pers in Charles Square.

4.30pm to entertain everyone.
Toyah will
sing her 1981 hit single It's a
Mystery as well as Guns N' Roses
power ballad Sweet Child o' Mine
and the Tina Turner classic River
Deep Mountain High and, after
illuminating the town centre with
her performances, the pop
sensation will switch on the
Christmas lights in Princess
Square at 4.30pm and then in
Charles Square.
Toyah's
career has spanned more than 30
years.She has had 13 top 40

Evening Mail - Small Screen Toyah
Story |
Saturday 3rd
November, 2007.................................................Press Clips |
Brummie
singer Toyah Willcox is back
wearing leggings and busty tops -
but this time as a medieval wench
rather than a punk rocker. The
Kings Heath-born star revealed
she has been approached about a
part in the long-awaited new
series of BBC1's Robin
Hood.
The
49-year-old, who now lives in
Worcestershire, is becoming a
regular on screen after winning
small parts in some of the
hottest TV shows going.
Toyah had
just finished her scenes for The
Secret Diary of a Call Girl
alongside TV babe Billie
Piper.
"In
The Secret Diary... it's still
very much a 'blink and you'll
miss me' role, but I loved it and
didn't seem to perish any cameras
whilst working," said Toyah.
"We only had persistent
rainfall to dodge. Now I'm
studying scripts for BBC'S Robin
Hood, which I might fit in before
I go on tour to
Estonia."
The '80s
punk rocker has a grounding in
acting as she trained at the
city's Old Rep Drama
School.
