Toyah played an amazing
set at the HASTINGS Beer & Music Festival on
Saturday 2nd July 2005. Again wearing her black
tu-tu, first witnessed at the WASTED Festival in
May,
she played
to over 4000 music (and beer) fans at the
successful event.
Toyah played an
16-song set, with classics of her own (including
songs rarely played live),
along with
cool covers.

Toyah, once
again, had a full band backing her. This, along with the WASTED Festival,
back in May, must rank as one of the
best Toyah
sets for many a year.
The set began
with The Door's 'Hello I Love You'. The set-list
included other covers;
'Hanging On
The Telephone' by Blondie, 'Sweet Child 'O Mine'
by Guns 'N Roses,
'She Sells
Sanctuary' by The Cult, and 'You Really Got Me'
by The Kinks.
Toyah had never
performed the famous Kinks' song before.
