Here's pop queen Toyah in her saucy new stage role  - as a good time girl. 

The outrageous, multicoloured punk rocker took her bow last night in a West End musical. 

Toyah stars as naughty night club singer Sally Bowles in Cabaret at the Strand Theatre. 

Her co-star is dancer Wayne Sleep.

Toyah, who plays the part made famous by film star Liza Minnelli, recovered from laryngitis only last week. 

She said she also had serious doubts about the role. "I wondered whether I could really handle it." 

Clearly, she need not have worried.
