Wynne&#8217;s Cakes and Winnie Wonka Chocolate yesterday, hosted a VIP night to celebrate its opening, with guests including singer and actress Toyah Willcox, right with John and Carl.<\/p>\n<p>John, aged 41, from Hanley, said: &#8220;I ran the pub for 15 years, and it was successful for most of that time, but with the decline of the market, I decided to do something different, and my friend suggested I open a cake shop.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Four years ago I&#8217;d never baked a cake, but I&#8217;ve been on lots of courses and it&#8217;s going really well.
