There have, of course, been numerous tributes to him and his fantastic career over the last week.\u00a0A number\u00a0of these have also mentioned Toyah! Why? Well, Toyah and Eric shared the distinction of being two of the three voices on the opening credits of the phenomenon that was\/is\u00a0<em>Teletubbies<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbcamerica.com\/anglophenia\/2012\/07\/rip-eric-sykes-five-of-his-best-moments\/\" target=\"_blank\">BBC America<\/a><\/strong>: <strong>RIP Eric Sykes: Five Of His Best Moments<\/strong>: Teletubbies: The first voice you hear is that of flame-haired post-punker Toyah Willcox, the second is Eric Sykes. You might want to switch off after a bit, unless you\u2019re really into pre-literate TV. Kinda relaxing though, isn\u2019t it\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.music-news.com\/shownews.asp?H=Learn-to-play-with-Elbow-and-The-Charlatans-at-BIMM-Music-Summer-Schools&amp;nItemID=53945\" target=\"_blank\">Music-News.com<\/a><\/strong> yesterday mentioned Toyah in their <em><strong>Learn to play with Elbow and The Charlatans at BIMM Music Summer Schools<\/strong><\/em> article: Incidentally, can you guess the musical link between the Foo Fighters, Toyah Willcox, Alien Sex Fiend, Ke$ha, Gwar and the cast of Glee? Yes, they all covered the title track from Alice Cooper 1972 album School&#8217;s Out.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 L\u00e4rwi&#8217;s been busy with her new <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/ALLTOYAH\" target=\"_blank\">All Toyah<\/a><\/strong> &#8216;You Tube&#8217; channel.
