A publication Toyah featured in a lot between 1980 and 1985, and also graced a trio of covers in 1980, &#8217;81 and &#8217;82.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><span style=\"color: #339966;\">The programme included contributions from Tennant, various <em>Smash Hits<\/em> editors and writers, and Toyah, talking about <em>Smash Hits<\/em> in general and her<\/span> <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.toyah.net\/ds\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/shits30.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Brave New World<\/em> cover<\/strong><\/a><\/span> <span style=\"color: #339966;\">from the Summer of 1982.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #339966;\">Neil Tennant had a life as a journalist before he became famous as a Pet Shop Boy, interviewing many of the pop stars and bands of the era, including a very early interview with Madonna.
