{"id":24315,"date":"2015-10-27T17:34:19","date_gmt":"2015-10-27T17:34:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.toyah.net\/?p=24315"},"modified":"2015-10-27T20:39:54","modified_gmt":"2015-10-27T20:39:54","slug":"30-years-of-mayhem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/toyah.net\/ds\/30-years-of-mayhem\/","title":{"rendered":"30 Years of &#8220;Mayhem&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>2015 was\/is the 30th anniversary of the release of two, starkly different, Toyah albums: The big-budget, major label, studio album <em>Minx<\/em>, which Dreamscape <a href=\"https:\/\/www.toyah.net\/category\/albums\/minx-albums\/\"><strong>celebrated\/posted about<\/strong><\/a> sporadically this year; and the, final 80s release on indie label Safari, compilation album <em>Mayhem (&#8220;A Special Collector&#8217;s Edition Album Of Rare and Archive Recordings&#8221;)<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Mayhem<\/em> was also released on expanded CD in 2005 and digitally in 2013. Somewhat ironically in this 30th anniversary year the &#8220;multi-media&#8221; warehouse which the album was named after, &#8220;Mayhem&#8221; in Battersea, London began to be demolished.
